Development
Change, The Only Constant
Many new residential and retail buildings have been added to our neighborhood footprint. While it is tough to foresee where else they will rise, we do know that there are proposals circulating for a new park area, including pickle ball courts, at the eastern base of the Brooklyn Bridge and a new recreation center underneath the Manhattan Bridge near the water.
As these types of projects come about, DAC works with the involved entities to help minimize disruption to the neighborhood and act as a conduit for residential feedback as appropriate. In some cases, we can establish a direct line of communication with the developers themselves to help smooth transitions during changes to the neighborhood.
