Councilman Lincoln Restler's office has submitted an application to City Hall for the creation of a DUMBO-focused inter-agency task force to address the illegal and unsanitary vending in the neighborhood. Despite hundreds of documented complaints to various city agencies, the response has been fragmented and ineffective. Establishing an organized approach will hopefully lead to a more successful outcome. Restler (@lincolnforcouncil) mentioned this action item during his last town hall meeting.
